Food Fraud Policy
Emirates Industry for Camel Milk & Products “Camelicious” recognizes the importance and necessity to protect our supply chain and consumers/customers from intentional adulteration (e.g., substitution, concealment, mislabeling, dilution, counterfeiting, etc.) in our food products for economic gain.
EICMP Top management takes the lead in protecting our products and supply chain from food fraud via our “Food Fraud Programme”.
Prevention of food fraud is important to protect the health and safety of consumers as well as to maintain the trust of our customers and stakeholders.
We ensure that the leader of the Programme is appropriately qualified, all employees who have an impact or affected by this Policy, are appropriately trained and adequate resources are made available to implement this Policy and Programme.
We regularly communicate our Food Fraud Policy and Programme to our employees, stakeholders and business partners who have an impact or affected by this Policy to share our commitment to food fraud prevention and to encourage them to align with our requirements.
We conduct regular food fraud vulnerability assessments to identify and assess potential vulnerabilities, both internal and external. We have also developed a documented food fraud mitigation plan to mitigate or eliminate identified vulnerabilities.
EICMP Top Management is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Food Fraud Policy and Programme.
By adhering to this Food Fraud Policy, Camelicious reaffirms its commitment to delivering authentic, high-quality products and maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
